Finance Intern (August 2017 - December 2017)
Internship Program Statement
The internship program at Volkswagen Group of AmericaChattanooga Operations is intended to provide college / university students andrecent graduates the opportunity to use and develop skills they have learned inthe classroom by working at our state-of-the-art production facility, and toprovide Volkswagen Chattanooga the opportunity to develop talent for potentialfuture entry-level positions.
Our internships are full-time positions (40 hrs/week). Candidates will be expected to be availableto work during normal business hours (Monday Friday; exact hours will vary byposition and some positions might require work on Saturdays). To be eligible forthe internship program, candidates are required to be enrolled at an accreditedpost-secondary educational institution, or have graduated from one within the 6months prior to the start date of the internship. Candidates who do not meet this guidelinewill not be considered. This position will start on August 14, 2017 and end on December 15, 2017. Applications for later termswill not be accepted at this time.

Analyze monthly financial results, actual vs.budget
Prepare and support month end close process
Analyze departmental requests for expenditures
Support cost controlling team's day to dayactivities
Accurate financial analysis
Excellent customer service with internal andexternal clients
On time reporting of requested analysis
Education
Required:Fourth year student studying Accounting/Finance.
Skills
Experience in Accounting
Experience with SAP
Analytical and conceptual thinking using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking
Communication skills interpersonal, presentation and written
Computer savvy skilled in the use of software
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, & Access)
Integration joining people, processes or systems
