Supervises 10 to 20 employees in a manufacturing operation involving metal cutting, welding, painting, hydraulics, electrical, electronics, vehicle assembly, misc assembly, etc
Oversees and/or conducts training on safety, operations, performance, quality, and housekeeping for new and existing employees
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel
Maintains compliance with established policies and procedures
Schedules and maintains work flow by continually monitoring process and personnel
Achieves production targets and goals
Maintains product quality standards
Reports departmental results in various formats; reports, email, verbal
Implements cost reductions
Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
## Qualifications
Skills Required

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Displays leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others
Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
Have knowledge and working experience in Lean management, 6S
Have excellent blue print reading skills
Have a good working knowledge of electronics and hydraulics preferred

Experience

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Minimum of three years prior manufacturing or production experience
