Job Description:
Camp Counselors support daily operations by overseeing the interactive behaviors of day care and overnight campers and maintaining a clean and safe facility.
Full time and Part time shifts available.
Operating hours:
6 am - 7 pm M - F 7 am - 7 pm Sat - Sun Holidays too - as we are open 365 days a year Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
Provide all Campers (dogs) with kindness and respect at all times Ensure the safety of all of our Campers by following strict operations policies Manage groups of up to 25 dogs in an open play yard environment Understand the difference between dogs playing and dogs being aggressive Clean up dog waste in play yards Ensure a clean and sanitary facility More cleaningyes we do a lot of cleaning! Basic dog grooming, baths, and nail trims Standing on your feet all day long and cleaning - it is a very fast paced, labor-intensive environment Communicate effectively with peers and leadership Always be dependable and on time Multi-tasking abilities is a must and must be able to prioritize Regularly demonstrate sincere concern for the care, attitudes, and behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with their pet parent Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude
Qualifications:
MUST LOVE DOGS! Customer service skills are a PLUS! No experience required, but previous kennel experience a plus! Passion for the care of dogs, no fear of dogs Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments High school diploma (or working on it) or equivalent Reliable transportation Able to pass a background/criminal check Willing to undergo drug/alcohol testing Fast, motivated learner Strong work ethic Strong communication skills Must be dependable and punctual- an absolute requirement Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Able to stand/walk for an entire shift Capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds Please submit resume and complete the application in the link below from our website.
