CHATT Foundation CHATT Foundation Chattanooga, TN Chattanooga, TN Full-time Full-time $23 - $24 an hour $23 - $24 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago CHATT Foundation Food Services Team Lead Reporting to the Food Services Manager, the Food Services Team Lead assists in creating a welcoming, compassionate dining experience by managing the day-to-day operational needs of a staffed kitchen serving guests of the CHATT Foundation.
The Food Services Team Lead is responsible for:
Assists the Food Services Manager in ensuring the preparation and consistent delivery of three quality, nutritious daily meals in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture and Hamilton County Department of Health standards.
Menu preparation in accordance with department budget and donated items in inventory Ensuring appropriate kitchen supervision and rule enforcement during all operating hours.
Assisting in assigning schedules and duties for and providing direct supervision of the food services staff, volunteers, and community service workers.
Assisting in maintaining inventory to include stock rotation and communication of needs as well as proper request and documentation of all purchases.
Enforcing sanitary and safety standards in all aspects of storage, preparation, and delivery of food and food products including but not limited to:
appropriate dress and hygiene practices of all kitchen workers, order and cleanliness of food and supply storage, food preparation, and dining areas (includes OSHA compliance) Communicating all maintenance, repair, and purchase needs to the Director of Facilities.
Preparing and delivering timely monthly reports (communicating information such as the previous month's number of meals served, and year-to-date meals served) to the Food Services Manager.
Assisting in maintaining daily communication logs for the food services department to include consistent documentation of freezer temperatures, food preparation notes, and staffing schedules.
Ensuring proper training of staff and appropriate licensing for USDA programs as well as other necessary certifications and regulations.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager and Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preference for higher education or training) Working knowledge of Health Department standards, OHSA safety rules for kitchen work, and Serve Safe practices.
One or more years of supervisory experience in a food services role Experience working in a commercial kitchen designed for mass-meal production.
Ability to balance professionalism and relational interaction with staff and guests.
Belief in the mission of the Chattanooga Community Kitchen along with a desire to serve people who are facing crisis situations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
