Our Y Adventurers Program hosts domestic and international trips for Y members and non-members.
These trips offer experiences in new places and cultures and are a great opportunity to connect with others in our community.
We are seeking someone as a part-time contract worker to serve as a liaison and sometimes travel guide for the Adventurers for both domestic and international trips.
Contract scope:
Organize and manage trip registrations via Personify and with travel/tour companies, serving as liaison between travel agencies and the YMCA participants.
Provides information to YMCA marketing team to advertise trips on social media, at YMCA branches, and with external organizations Complete an in-person advertising opportunity at all four YMCA membership branches each quarter Complete in-person, pre-trip meeting for each trip to provide high quality customer service experience for travelers Travel with Adventurers group on selected trips, pending registration goals and commission goals are met Manage travel evaluation and data collection for program quality, including post-trip surveys Respond to all emails and calls from participants within 2 business days Contractor requirements:
3-5 years of related experience working with customers Comfort with and experience with domestic travel required; comfort and experience with international travel preferred Valid U.

passport for international travel (YMCA does not cover expense) Proficient knowledge of computers (including Windows-based systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) & ability to learn YMCA systems including Personify Fees:
Contractor will be paid a per-trip stipend for pre-trip work as well as a stipend for travel.
Based on registration goals, the Y will also pay trip fee for selected travel experiences.
