Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Three (3) years experience in a Human Resources Management required.
Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Must be able to deliver employment-related services and/or volunteer activities for people with disabilities is preferred.
Solid understanding of labor laws and regulations, Federal, Tennessee and Georgia.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that employee benefits are communicated, maintained, reconciled, process and paid timely.
Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating in a confidential manner.
Maintains employee personnel files and has excellent record keeping skills.
Performs periodic audits to ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and E-Verify execution.
Devises programs for operational improvement (i.
e.
, recognition, morale, safety).
Conducts exit interviews and completes paperwork for departing employees.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Maintain appropriate mandatory Federal and State Employment Postings.
Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
