They will lead a team of employees, oversee daily operations of the camp, budget, inventory, safety, and maintenance of the facility.
This role will also include providing all the necessary training for camp employees.
The General Manager works directly with the owners to grow the business of the camp through a variety of marketing and sales activities, while also managing day-to-day operations.
In-camp responsibilities consist of leading daily operation tasks, managing all staff (front desk staff and camp counselors), and providing great customer service with the clients.
This role will also create partnerships with local businesses, secure and attend local events to represent the brand, and handle marketing and social media activities.
Supervise, Train, and Scheduling of Employees:
- Promote teamwork and fun at Camp Bow Wow Chattanooga - Responsible for all hiring needs and employee separations - Day-today scheduling of Camp Counselors and overall camp coverage - Monitor attendance and assuming responsibility to find coverage and/or cover on uncovered shifts.
- Conduct performance reviews of Camp Counselors and provide ongoing coaching and feedback - Ensure all Camp Counselors are properly trained and supervised - Ensure all Camp Counselors are up to date on Dog First Aid and Dog CPR Certifications - Ensure all staff understands and follows policies, procedures, and regulations Operations:
- Provide a safe and clean environment at all times for campers, clients, and employees - Ensure proper feedings, medications, and cleaning protocols are followed - Operate safe ratios for dogs in the group play environments - Manage front desk operations, including all check-in and check-out procedures are followed, while providing Best In Class Customer Service - Operate within overall camp budget Skills:
- Multi-tasker - Organized with high attention to detail - Highly motivated and passionate about working with clients, both humans and dogs - Critical thinking skills, including time management and project management - Excellent communication skills Requirments:
- LOVE dogs and people! - Ability to manage people - Ability to sell services - Excellent customer service - Must have 2
years of managing employees and operating a business within budget - Must have reliable transportation - Must be authorized to work in the United States of America Job Type:
