This role involves researching and analyzing factual data, as well as conducting routine activities such as liaising with insurance companies regarding claims, communicating with the Five Star Fleet Management company, and tracking data on Five Star Fleet Vehicles.
Additionally, this position will involve updating departmental files, maintaining schedules, and generating reports relevant to the job function.
Reporting to the Director of Fleet and Safety, the position will assist in various aspects of Fleet Management, including:
Data entry, tracking, and reporting for departmental purposes Reporting and managing vehicle accident and maintenance claims Tracking and reporting Fleet activities through the Fleet Management System Tracking and reporting on the Pre-Trip Inspection platform Tracking and reporting on the GPS/Telematics/Camera System Collaborating with the Fleet Administrator on assigned duties
Responsibilities:
Managing daily vehicle accident and subrogation claims activities following Five Star procedures Reviewing and maintaining knowledge of Five Star auto insurance policy Entering and maintaining relevant data for tracking vehicle accidents and subrogation claims Assisting in compiling Fleet reports and documents for filing claims against parties causing damage to Five Star property Monitoring vehicle maintenance through the Fleet Management platform Remaining informed about current Five Star policies, practices, and procedures Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
4-6 years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of related education/training/experience (Relevant degree preferred) Demonstrated expertise in working within all levels of a company Proficiency in research, analysis, writing, and implementing DOT, fleet management, and claims processes Intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) Detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication, organization, prioritization, multitasking, and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies
