We are seeking an experience Full-Time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work on-site in all the local major hospitals.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician.
Your role will involve performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating patients with peripheral vascular disease.
The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
The Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for patient education and management of patient health.
Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories - Diagnose and treat acute Vascular illnesses - Prescribe medications and monitor patient response - Provide education to patients on Vascular disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and medication management - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of TN - Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program - Certification as a Nurse Practitioner - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Cardiovascular or Acute Care Experience is a plus) - Strong knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and protocols - Excellent clinical assessment skills - Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations - Familiarity with electronic medical records systems - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
