Data Maintenance Volunteer

Essential Duties/Responsibilities/Volunteers Qualification/Requirements:We are looking for individuals with a
servant's heart and a willingness to assist Precept in the entry and maintenance of ministry data records. This
involves working on a computer in various software programs to add, change or remove data as directed and
trained. This position is a local volunteer position. There will be no compensation or pay with this position.
Physical Requirements:Ability to perform computer work using mouse and keyboard while sitting at a
workstation.
Level of commitment:This position is needed Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00. Volunteers are needed for a
minimum of 2 hour increments during any of these times. Due to the amount of training required for some tasks, it
is most beneficial for our volunteers in this position to commit to a regular schedule such as weekly or bi-weekly.
Must exhibit teamwork and a can-do attitude. Contribute to the overall goals of Precept Ministries. Volunteers
must understand this assignment may be ended at any time.
Knowledge/
Experience:Must enjoy serving others and working in a team-oriented environment with a
willingness to accomplish tasks individually with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow instructions and
complete assigned tasks according to instructions given and show willingness to ask for help when questions arise.
Familiarity with basic computer functions is required; training on any specific software applications will be
provided.
Character/Spiritual:Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ through a personal relationship with Him; maintains a
courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Precept Ministries International; agrees
with and demonstrates behavior consistent with the Ministry's Core Values and Doctrinal Statement; upholds
Precept Ministries International in prayer.
