Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Intern will have an opportunity to assist the I/T Applications department with various assignments and projects including:
-Data warehouse projects
-Data integration assingments
-Data profiling and analysis
-Integration of strategic vendor partners
Qualifications:
Education
o Juniors or seniors who have completed a minimum of two years towards the completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field are eligible.
o BCBST employees are not eligible to participate in the internship program.
Experience
o Experience with programming (classwork or actual experience)
o Previous IT internship experience in a corporate setting preferred
o Experience analyzing data and providing recommended solutions preferred
Skills/Certifications
o Able to prioritize, work independently, proactively seek assignments and effectively manage time and resources.
o Effective communication skills: verbal and written.
o Interpersonal and organizational skills.
o Flexibility; assignments vary greatly.
