Experience in automotive manufacturing
Understanding and use of GD&T and Polyworks software
Optical scanning and evaluation
Faro/Romer/GOM operation
Using CMM Measurement Machines (Tactile)
Qualifications and Skills:
3
years of Measuring Technology experience, automotive background experience
Engineering/Technical Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Experience with 3D-measurements equipment (ZEISS, DEA, Brown and Sharp, Sliefelmayer )
Excellent spatial ability and solid understanding of technical drawing, specifications, functional dimensions, etc
CAD knowledge (Catia V5)
Experience with evaluating and improving sheet metal single part and assembly quality
Strong understanding of Statistical Tolerance Analysis
Responsibilities:
Offline programming of CNC coordinate Measuring Devices
Cross checking measurement results for plausibility
Provide accurate and detailed data for customers and in-house
Optimization of inspection plansEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
