Your Role
Under the leadership of Head Journey Pressperson, you will be an apprentice and learn all attributes of the Offset press with regards to production, quality, safety, and compliance. Once fulfilled, you will be the relief pressperson and fill in when required on 2
nd
and 3
rd
shift. Daily activities are as follows;
Assist the Head Journeyman Pressperson in the operation of the Offset Press. Including but not limited to all safety and quality checks
Responsible for prepping press for next production run, sheets, plates, ink, etc.
Must assist the Head Journeyman Pressperson in meeting safety, quality and production standards and take over production needs in absence
Must work safely and perform other duties as assigned
Assist in training other press personnel
Responsible for quality of production and for the cleanliness and safety of work area
All overtime is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
